JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Director of Operations at Chick-fil-A Buckland Hills, you will lead either the day or night shift and play a vital role in running a top-performing restaurant. You’ll work closely with the Owner/Operator to set and track business goals, oversee daily execution, and empower your team to deliver exceptional service, food safety, and guest care in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Leadership experience in food service, hospitality, or fast-paced operations
• Ability to lead and coach teams with energy, clarity, and empathy
• Availability to work flexible hours (day or night shifts, weekends, holidays)
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Commitment to food safety and operational excellence
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Chick-fil-A experience is a plus but not required
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week

• Execute daily or nightly operational checklists (safe counts, walkthroughs, cleanliness audits)
• Ensure food safety compliance (Safe Daily Critical, eRQA, temperature logs, hygiene)
• Coach team members to uphold Chick-fil-A’s hospitality and service standards
• Lead FOH & BOH team huddles and ensure effective communication across shifts
• Collaborate with the Owner/Operator to track goals, business performance, and metrics
• Support leadership development and identify high-potential team members
• Oversee stock levels, product quality, and equipment functionality
• Manage catering orders, break plans, guest recovery, and shift transitions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at all times
