Job Title: Senior Accountant

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CPA are highly desirable.
• Minimum 5+ years of total experience, including at least 3 years in a senior accounting role in the UAE.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Freight forwarding industry experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive UAE and/or GCC accounting experience, strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE corporate tax regulations, and proven expertise in managing end-to-end accounting operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
• Manage UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and GCC-wide accounting regulations (e.g., withholding tax).
• Prepare accurate financial statements, monthly reports, and statutory filings.
• Lead year-end audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flows to support strategic decision-making.
• Utilize ERP systems (Tally, Fresa, CargoWise, SAP, or similar) across multiple workflows and modules.
