Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to join our dynamic team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. As the Chief Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our organization's financial operations and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations. Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including month-end and year-end closing procedures Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management decision-making Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian accounting standards, regulations, and Islamic finance principles Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and internal controls Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement Participate in budgeting processes and financial planning initiatives Monitor cash flow and manage treasury operations Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and tax regulations, implementing necessary adjustments Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, SOCPA) strongly preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in a corporate environment In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian accounting standards, regulations, and Islamic finance principles Strong proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting Outstanding organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic (bilingual preferred) Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals Experience in implementing and improving financial processes and controls Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of independent decision-making Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment Additional Information Your team and working environment: In 1-2 sentences, introduce the team, property or office environment in a way that reflects the culture Note: Customization may be included for any specific local or legislative requirements, such as work permits Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
