QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
• Prior experience in used car trading, automotive import/export, or freight forwarding/logistics is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT laws, and customs regulations.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP B1, Tally, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

JOB PURPOSE

The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the complete financial and accounting function, ensuring compliance with IFRS, UAE laws, VAT regulations, and company policies. This role involves supervising the accounts team, managing cash flow, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate, timely reporting for both the used car trading and freight forwarding business lines.
