We are a prominent and fast-growing restaurant chain, recruiting for the position of Chief Accountant. This role requires not only strong technical accounting skills but also hands-on experience in the food and beverage industry.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and UAE accounting standards
• Minimum 2 years of solid experience in the F&B industry
• Proficiency in Odoo accounting system
• Male candidates only, as per the operational requirement

Experience:

• F&B: 5 years (Preferred)

• Oversee the entire accounting cycle, from journal entries to finalization of financial statements
• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing for all outlets and the head office
• Handle cost accounting, including inventory, recipe costing, and waste tracking
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and payment cycles
• Ensure compliance with VAT and coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies
• Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts
• Generate management reports to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Coordinate with procurement and operations teams for accurate expense recognition
• Ensure proper controls over petty cash, supplier payments, and sales reporting
