REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent from recognized Universities.
• Minimum 15 years of working experience in related field, preferably at least 5 years with a professional accounting firm/ big four audit firms.
• Must be a Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) member and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar certification.
• Knowledge in plantation and refineries operations will be an added advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance requirements of MFRS / IFRS / PSAK.
• Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
• Willing to travel locally and oversea.

• Lead accounting division and oversee day to day accounting and financial operations for Plantation section.
• Manage the team in preparation and finalization financial statements; monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts; monthly cash flow forecast, costing, annual budget and estimates, including meeting datelines.
• Develop financial strategy and manage financial results with respect to sales, profitability, cash flow, mergers and acquisitions, systems, reporting and controls.
• Implement and ensure accuracy and in compliance with internal and statutory financial and accounting standard and procedures.
• Improve financial and accounting processes and providing strategic financial insights and recommendation to support the company’s goals.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Provide guidance and training to Operating Centres on accounting matters.
• Liaise with auditors in related to accounts and finance related matter and ensure audit compliance.
• Provide advice to management pertaining to all accounting and financial related issues.
• Any ad-hoc task related to accounts/ finance as assigned by management.
