JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lebanese Chief Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UAE accounting standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead the accounting function independently. Candidates with experience in the media industry will be given preference.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Nationality: Lebanese (mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CA is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting and tax regulations.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Experience in the media industry is a strong advantage.

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, including VAT filings and audits.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and forecasts.
• Maintain accurate documentation and financial controls in line with corporate policies.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Review and improve internal accounting processes and workflows.
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants or finance team members.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
