Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and precise reporting of financial results.
• Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights that support strategic business decisions.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to drive performance and accountability.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, ensuring all financial documents are prepared and available.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize accounting processes.
• Implement and oversee accounting software systems that enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
• CA qualification (Qualified or Inter) is mandatory
• 8 to 15 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, post CA qualifications
• Trading/Manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting & financial reporting
