::: KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES ::: Cash Management Monitor daily cash inflows/ outflows and bank balances; ensure adequate liquidity for both corporate bank account and JV bank account. Prepare cash flow forecasts, cash flow statements and present to VP Finance on a monthly basis. Optimize bank interest income Coordinate with banks on transactions, financing, investment activities, and Financial security requirement. PSC Accounting Ensure compliance with PSC & JOA accounting requirements. Record and manage revenue, OPEX, CAPEX, intercompany, accruals, and year‑end adjustments. Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual PSC financial statements and cost recovery reports. Perform PSC revenue allocation, profit split, royalty, and cost recovery. Coordinate with DMF, JV partners, auditors, and tax advisors. Support WP&B preparation; monitor budget vs. actual. Review on-operated JV expenditures and AFE compliance. Joint Venture Accounting Supervise the JV accounting team to ensure full compliance with JOA requirements across accounting, reporting, budgeting, AFEs, and governance processes. Oversee and review the preparation of Joint Interest Billings (JIB), Cash Calls, and JV financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission to partners. Coordinate the preparation of WP&B and actual expenditure reports; review team outputs and present consolidated financial updates in TCM/OCM meetings. Review and validate monthly financial performance analysis and operational highlights prepared by the team; present key findings to VP Finance and the Finance Team Lead. Act as the primary finance focal point for JV partners, overseeing team responses to partner queries and ensuring clarity, consistency, and proper documentation for all billings and cost allocations. Supervise team actions regarding collections and correspondence regarding Cash Call received from partners. Identify-related financial issues—such as budget overruns, allocation discrepancies, or disputes—and provide guidance to the team while recommending solutions to senior management. Accounting & Financial Reporting Working with GL Chief Accountant to set the schedule and manage month-end and year-end closing process, including GL review & documentation and meeting reporting deadlines as specified by Corporate Finance team. Working with GL Chief Accountant to ensure proper preparation, review and approval of account reconciliations and financial statements Working with GL Chief Accountant to manage the coordination of independent auditors quarter-end and year-end audits, including taking ownership of audit issues and their resolution within corporate timeframes. Lead and Supervise JV Accountants for both Joint Venture and Corporate accounting matters Review monthly financial close of Thailand BUs companies by ensuring tasks are accurate and completed on time. Review and approve general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations. Ensures JIB is properly accounted for and correctly allocated. Ensures JIB is provided to partners on time. Maintains accounting policy, manual, and procedures. Tax and Audit Compliance Working with GL Chief Accountant and JV accountants to Facilitates JV audits initiated by non-operating partners. Working with Tax manager, GL Chief Accountant and JV accountants to Facilitates Revenue department/ DMF Audit. Ensure data completeness and prompt resolution of audit queries. Others Prepare ad hoc report for all users request. Perform other duties assigned by VP Finance Coaching and providing advice to other Finance Team members :: QUALIFICATIONS ::: Knowledge & Qualifications: University degree in Accounting and/or Finance, preferably a qualified professional accountant Good knowledge of accounting procedures, protocols and guidelines Good knowledge of the Thai Petroleum Tax Laws and international accounting standards such as IFRS. Knowledge of the Oil and Gas environment with a background in Accounting Experience: 7-10 years of direct experience in the Oil and Gas accounting field (E&P industry) Skills: Planning and organising skills Strong analytical skills Spreadsheet and computer skills on Accounting Software e.g. Oracle Communications skills in English Cost consciousness Time Management Work Condition: Enjoy a dynamic on-site work environment, 5 days a week.
