Major/Essential Functions
Reconciliations should be current and show detail from beginning of the program by program year and by clinical department.
Be able to show reserved funds and available funds.
Will provide reports on an as needed basis and annually for budget support.
As this department works with various federal, state and local initiatives that allow for funding of clinical activities.
The Chief Analyst of PLFSOM will be able to clearly interpret, execute and process guidelines as prescribe by each funding source documentation or revenue contract.
Completes assigned work accurately and timely, asking questions or conducting research to ensure tasks are in compliance to institutional and regulatory authority. Able to produce accurate free from error data analysis reports that include but are not limited to: costing reports, P&L, margins, budgeting and forecasting.
Will use MS Access or Tableau to consolidate large amounts information and consolidate and create relationships between data extracted from different systems used by the institution.
Prepare budgets for assigned funds and approve expenditures throughout the year.
Responsible for ensuring fund stays balanced and that expenditures are made in accordance with all operating policies of the institution.
Assist in the creation of new staff and faculty positions.
Closely manage one-time payments and incentive schedules for timely processing utilizing WRVU reporting for physicians in accordance to policy/procedures.
Assist in developing consistent incentive criteria across all specialties for efficiency.
Provides supervision to contract billing team to ensure that invoices are created to maximize contract revenues.
Resolves issues in person or on the phone in order to facilitate the timely and accurate processing of invoices.
Work with clinical department administrators and assigned staff to ensure that assigned tasks are being performed accurately for policies and procedures.
Work closely with Sr. Director and Managing Director in the completion of annual budget preparation for clinical and support departments.
Remains current with all licensure, certifications and mandatory compliances and trainings required of this position.
Adhere to all policies, procedures and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.).
Personally demonstrate, display and act in accordance with TTUHSC EP’s Values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Serve as a Value’s leader while actively promoting and encouraging staff across the institution.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required plus five years progressively responsible related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Computer Science, Information Technology, or Medical
Knowledge of basic medical terminology, (3) or more demonstrable years of data analysis to include: ability to collect data, utilize data gathering tools, ability to prioritize and effectively handle multiple tasks.
Posses strong computer skills with strong working knowledge of Excel, Access, SQL and database programming.
Preferred Master’s degree a strong plus. (3) or more years of data analysis work experience in a medical/clinical environment.
Understanding of healthcare bioinformatic trends and working knowledge of HEDIS measures.
Ability to read and understand complex medical contracts.
Working knowledge of at least one industry standard EHR (Electronic Health Records) system and a financial ERP system
Experience in financial analysis, budget, internal audit, and procurement.
Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures, organize tasks and set priorities.
At least (3) years experience in supervision.
