Responsibilities Peraton is hiring a Chief Architect on our program with a state customer for implementing and maintaining advanced information technology. This position is remote. Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities: Work directly with senior level leadership and the customer to architect and implement new IT technology within a state agency enterprise environment Apply comprehensive understanding of current and emerging IT technology to improve IT in the state Develop creative ways to implement cross functional teams and bridge gaps Develop innovative, cost efficient solutions for customer service, cyber, engineering, and operations Collaborate with strategic industry partners to evaluate new products/capabilities, other Peraton program chief engineers/architects, and Peraton corporate to develop best practices to apply to the state Recommend Cloud and Agile DevSecOps strategies Create cost savings solutions for the customer by removing technical debt and consolidating systems/tools to benefit customers Participate in innovation forums and meetings with co-suppliers and strategic partners as required Deliver next generation technology white papers and technical training for the staff as well as the customer as required Lead monthly innovation forums and meetings with strategic partners Deliver next generation technology white papers and technical training for the staff as well as the customer Qualifications Basic Qualifications: High School diploma and 16 years of experience, may have management experience Must be a U.S. Citizen 12+ years of relevant industry experience System integration for network, compute, storage, cloud, and virtualization Knowledge of emerging IT technology Strong presentation and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with State and Local customers Certifications: Open Certified Architect (Open CA) certification Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Target Salary Range $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
