Description

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will be responsible for driving the company’s business development, sales and product marketing activities. The CCO will play a critical role in shaping the company’s short- and long-term commercial success and ensuring sustainable growth as a Tier 1 supplier in the new market of electric propulsion systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, sales and marketing within the aviation and preferably automotive business.
  • Experience in eVTOL and in start-up organizations is of advantage.
  • Proven track record of driving commercial success in a leadership role.
  • Strong industry network and experience withing large and mid-size organizations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

Business Development:

  • Develop new markets and establish business cases
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to capitalize on new opportunities

Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and execute offer and sales strategies tailored to different customer segments within the aviation or any other business-related industry
  • Establish and foster customer relationships
  • Establish & run a worldwide sales network

Product Marketing & Brand Strategy:

  • Oversee marketing initiatives
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for product and services

Leadership:

  • Work closely with the executive leadership team to define and execute the company’s commercial and development strategy
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a high-performance & development culture
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences and networking events.
