Job Description As Chief Concierge, you will be the face of our hotel’s guest experience, anticipating needs, creating memorable stays, and setting the standard for personalised service. You will oversee the daily operations of the Concierge desk, lead and mentor a passionate team, and collaborate closely with all departments to ensure seamless guest satisfaction. Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing Concierge team dedicated to exceptional guest service. Provide personalised recommendations and craft bespoke itineraries, reservations, and local experiences. Maintain relationships with suppliers, partners, and local service providers. Manage logistics such as transportation, special requests, luggage handling, VIP arrangements, and guest communications. Ensure smooth coordination between Front Desk, Bell Desk, and other operational departments. Uphold brand standards while continuously enhancing service quality and guest engagement. Handle guest concerns with professionalism and a solutions-driven approach. Qualifications Previous experience as a Chief Concierge or Senior Concierge within a luxury or 5-star environment. A natural leader with exceptional communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Deep knowledge of the Sydney area (and beyond), culture, dining, attractions, and experiences. Strong commitment to delivering personalised, memorable guest service. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities with elegance. Professional presentation that aligns with luxury hospitality standards. Les Clefs d’Or membership highly regarded (but not essential).
