Responsibilities Deliver and manage the Signalling Replacement Project for urban lines to ensure the project is delivered safely, on-time and within budget as well as quality implementation without disruption to daily railway operations Ensure the project and the related support works are executed smoothly via robust project management of consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders Lead approval of design submissions by contractors to ensure compliance with statutory and project management, and critically manage the configuration management of software development and delivery by contractors to secure safety approval for revenue operation Manage project progress and programmes and identify risks and potential problem areas with preventive or remedial measures Maintain close liaison with relevant Government departments to ensure smooth progress of works via regular meetings and co-ordination activities Requirements Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering or a related discipline A minimum of 15 years’ experience of which 6 years should be at managerial level Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognized professional institution Solid experience in the design and build of contemporary railway signalling systems project works with major railway infrastructure projects and contract management exposures In-depth technical knowledge of all phases of design, manufacturing and construction works in a multi-disciplinary environment with coverage of various aspects of project management Strong leadership, excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a multi-cultural environment Remarks Appointment will be made on 2-year renewable contract terms You are invited to apply online via Careers at MTR or send in your CV stating the position (with reference number) you are applying for by mail to Human Resource Management Department, MTR Corporation, G.P.O.
