OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and capable Chief Development Officer. The Chief Development Officer (CDO) serves as the key fundraising strategist and chief gift officer, responsible for driving philanthropic growth through innovative donor engagement strategies.. As a single-person development team, this position leads major gift solicitations, coordinates with Foundation board members, develops relationships with physicians for grateful patient fundraising, and manages the donor CRM system. The CDO ensures attainment of annual fundraising goals through disciplined focus on donor cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certification (CFRE) preferred
Preferred Experience: 7+ years of successful experience in major gift fundraising, preferably in a healthcare or medical environment.
