Description

* Allocate tasks to crew members and supervise activities to ensure that safe operating procedures are followed * Analyze and remedy issues/faults that are beyond the scope of Chief Electrician subordinates * Keep track of inventory and liaise with superiors for the procurement of required spare parts, without undue overstocking * Ensures that work areas are kept clean and safe working practices are employed * Maintain appropriate records of work done and consumables used * Prepare scope of maintenance/repair works required for dry-dock / non-commissioned vessels, equipment and installations and work in close coordination with superiors to monitor subcontracted work * Compliance in accordance with section/Company policies & procedures, Policy of Integrity & Code of Conduct and HSE standards.

Responsibilities

Supervise electrical crew and perform complex repairs on construction and mission deck equipment for fleet vessels. Plan and execute preventive maintenance for jacking, pipe laying, and heavy lift systems to ensure safe offshore operations.
