Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune, India. As the leader of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our facility's systems and infrastructure. Lead and mentor a team of engineering professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for all building systems and equipment Oversee and manage complex engineering projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints Analyze and optimize energy consumption, implementing conservation measures to reduce operational costs Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards Collaborate with other departments to minimize the impact of maintenance activities on daily operations Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors, ensuring high-quality service delivery Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance records, project reports, and budget forecasts Respond to emergency situations promptly, coordinating necessary repairs and minimizing downtime Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in facility management and engineering Contribute to long-term strategic planning for facility improvements and upgrades Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) Professional Engineering license Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in facility management or related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Proven track record in managing large-scale engineering projects and maintenance operations Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety Expertise in energy management and conservation techniques Proficiency in project management and budgeting Excellent leadership and team management skills Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Proficiency in using facility management software and MS Office suite Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed Familiarity with local building codes and regulations Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends
