Job Description We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Engineer to join our dynamic team in 6th of October City, Egypt. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all technical operations and engineering functions, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency across our facilities. As Chief Engineer, you will drive innovation, lead a talented technical team, and implement strategic solutions that align with our organizational goals while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. Oversee and manage all technical operations, maintenance, and repair activities for facilities, equipment, and infrastructure both inside and outside the premises Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive maintenance and repair programs to ensure all systems operate efficiently and in compliance with technical standards Lead, mentor, and organize the technical team; assign qualified personnel to maintenance and repair tasks or coordinate with external service providers to ensure quality workmanship Prepare and manage the technical operations budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation without compromising service quality or customer satisfaction Conduct regular facility inspections to verify compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards Establish and maintain effective communication channels with subcontractors, departmental staff, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration Implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures; train employees on fire prevention, disaster preparedness, and occupational health measures Manage technical service workshops and storage facilities, optimizing their utilization and maintaining accurate inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies Monitor and analyze technical developments and industry best practices; provide expert consulting to other departments and leadership Coordinate complex engineering activities across multiple disciplines and departments, demonstrating analytical thinking and problem-solving expertise Prepare daily task lists and weekly work schedules for the technical team, ensuring organized and efficient operations Conduct periodic water quality sampling and testing; document results and report findings to relevant departments as needed Ensure all technical activities align with quality management systems, environmental sustainability initiatives, and energy conservation programs Participate in emergency response teams, food safety initiatives, and organizational meetings as required Execute additional responsibilities assigned by senior management to support organizational objectives Qualifications **Education & Certifications:** Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field (minimum requirement) Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in facility management, HVAC systems, or industrial engineering (preferred) **Experience:** Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in technical operations, facility management, or engineering roles Proven experience leading and managing technical teams in a corporate or hospitality environment Demonstrated expertise in maintenance planning, equipment troubleshooting, and repair coordination Experience managing technical budgets and optimizing operational costs Background in vendor and contractor management **Technical Skills & Competencies:** Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications and automation software Strong knowledge of engineering standards, building codes, and safety regulations Expertise in maintenance management systems and technical documentation Proficiency in analyzing technical data and implementing data-driven solutions Skilled in project management and coordinating complex, multi-disciplinary activities Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities **Soft Skills & Attributes:** Exceptional leadership and team management abilities Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management capabilities Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across departments Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Resilient and decisive decision-making skills Customer-focused mentality with emphasis on service excellence Flexible and adaptable to changing operational needs **Language & Additional Requirements:** Intermediate level English proficiency (minimum) Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and technical training Commitment to maintaining high standards of occupational health and safety Ability to work on-site in 6th of October City, Egypt Job-Category: Engineering & Maintenance Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time
