Job Description Lead and manage the Engineering & Maintenance Department, ensuring safe, efficient daily operations. Oversee repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems. Ensure compliance with local regulations on fire safety, building control, environmental codes, and life-safety systems. Prepare and manage departmental budgets, cost control, energy conservation, and utilities consumption. Supervise contractors, vendors, and service providers; liaise with regulatory authorities. Conduct regular staff training, performance reviews, and development to maintain high technical and service standards. Drive sustainability initiatives (Planet 21), including energy savings, waste reduction, and water conservation. Maintain effective communication with the General Manager, department heads, and external partners. Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are consistently met for guests and staff. Foster a positive, professional team culture aligned with company values. Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering (or related field). Minimum 5–7 years of engineering/maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or large facilities. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, and building systems. Proven leadership and team management skills. Solid understanding of local regulatory requirements (safety, environmental, building codes). Experience in budgeting, cost control, and energy conservation. Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to liaise effectively with contractors and authorities. Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Singapore. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents.
