As a Chief Engineer, you’ll lead our engineering team in keeping our hotel running smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will ensure that every guest enjoys a safe, comfortable, and seamless stay. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Chief Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of the hotel. In this role, you will: Lead and manage the engineering team, providing direction and support. Oversee all maintenance and repair projects, ensuring safety and compliance. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of hotel assets. Monitor energy usage and manage utility systems to optimize efficiency. Respond to guest requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations. Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel. WHAT YOU BRING We’re looking for a skilled and proactive leader who takes pride in maintaining excellence. To excel in this role, you’ll need: At least 5 years of experience in engineering or maintenance management, preferably in a hotel setting. Strong leadership and communication skills. Extensive knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical & swimming pools. A commitment to safety, with experience in OSHA regulations and safety standards. The ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
