Chief Engineer - Hilton San Francisco Union Square
is currently seeking a Chief Engineer. If you are a seasoned building engineer with high rise building experience this is the perfect opportunity to join one of the best Engineering teams in the business! We have 1024 rooms and 32 floors in downtown San Francisco, and we offer some of the best views through bay with floor to ceiling windows.
This role will be responsible for assisting in overseeing and maintaining the guest rooms, public space and back of the house areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and masonry to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel. Ideal candidates for this role will possess:
At least two (2) years of hotel maintenance experience.
Full availability to work shifts including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, overnight and holidays.
Three (3) years or more of experience with basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC is a plus!
Experience working with high rise buildings is preferred.
Shift Pattern: AM PM Overnight
Pay Rate: $82.05

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the functionality and safety of the facility, including the physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical system/s, heating and cooling systems, life safety systems and grounds in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Directs general construction and the installation, maintenance and repair of all electrical, mechanical and architectural systems throughout the facility to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
  • Assigns, verifies and documents the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system.
  • Communicates with city/county/state officials to ensure the proper maintenance of permits and licenses, to coordinate required inspections and to ensure full compliance with codes, regulations and safety standards to protect the well-being of all guests and team members.
