The Job As a Chief Engineer you are Responsible for the safe and efficient organization and operation of the repairs and maintenance department, including all lodge units, association property, mechanical systems and associated areas. Responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations at Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa (inclusive of Teton Private Residence), all Noble House Hotels & Resorts and HOA annual capital projects, oversight of employee housing units, and adhering to all budgeting and fiduciary standards set forth by NHHR Corporate Headquarters. Requirements Requirements To be successful in our Chief Engineer position, you: Has thorough knowledge and understanding of general repairs and maintenance. Proven track record working with information technology systems. Experience with fire and life safety systems. Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Will interact with guests and homeowners to provide efficient and effective results as related to repairs and maintenance. Maintain a close working relationship with team members and department heads from all areas of the hotel. This position is on call 24 hours a day. One must be flexible to work long hours to ensure the smooth operation of the Engineering department. This position requires the ability to communicate and make sound judgment calls when evaluating problems and situations in order to expedite the resolution. Additionally, it is necessary to take a proactive role and mange by example.
