As Chief Engineer, you will lead the hotel’s Engineering & Maintenance team to ensure the functionality, safety, and efficiency of all hotel systems and facilities. You’ll play a critical role in enhancing the guest experience by maintaining a well-kept, fully operational environment.

• Lead, train, and supervise the engineering team, ensuring high standards of performance, safety, and service.
• Oversee all hotel facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety systems, and building infrastructure.
• Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule, track, and report maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and logic control diagrams to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Plan and execute engineering projects, including renovations and equipment upgrades, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to proactively identify and resolve maintenance-related concerns that impact guest satisfaction.
• Monitor energy usage and identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and sustainability improvements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
• Act as a point of contact for external contractors, vendors, and inspectors, ensuring quality work and proper documentation.
