About the role We have an opportunity for a Chief Engineer to be part of our Aviation Command. The Chief Engineer is responsible for managing the Aviation Command Engineering department within a highly regulated legislative and budgetary framework in order to ensure ongoing safe operations. You have the opportunity to be a member of the NSW Police Force Aviation Command, the primary law enforcement and search and rescue agency for the state of NSW. In addition to the above mentioned salary, the position occupant may be eligible to be paid a $20,000 Skills Shortage Allowance in accordance with “C2025-09 Skills Shortage Allowance Implementation Guidelines” for a 2-year period (subject to satisfying the relevant eligibility criteria) .
