Why You’ll Love Working With Us * Opportunities for career growth across our hotel management portfolio. * Travel discounts at Marriott properties worldwide. * Supportive company culture — “We’ve Got Your Back.” Major Duties * Lead, schedule, and train a high-performing maintenance team. * Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and developing maintenance associates. * Oversee daily operations of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems. * Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and brand compliance. * Manage maintenance inventory and vendor coordination for timely repairs and projects. * Maintain accurate records, preventative maintenance logs, and assist with capital project planning. * Ensure curb appeal and upkeep of exterior areas including landscaping, parking lots, and pool. * Support hotel operations and guest satisfaction through prompt response to maintenance needs. * Enforce OSHA, safety, and brand standards; champion a culture of safety and teamwork. * Be available for after-hours emergency calls as part of a rotating on-call schedule. Qualifications * 2–4 years of hotel maintenance experience; 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role. * Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair. * Familiarity with OSHA standards, safety procedures, and preventive maintenance systems. * Valid driver’s license; ability to pass background check. * Certified Pool Operator (CPO) required or ability to obtain within 60 days. Preferred: * Technical certification or associate degree in a related field. * Experience managing vendor relationships and capital improvement projects. * Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Physical Requirements * Ability to stand, walk, or climb stairs for extended periods. * Frequent use of ladders and tools requiring fine motor skills. * Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. independently; up to 140 lbs. with assistance. * Perform tasks involving kneeling, reaching, bending, and twisting as required.
