EBC is a Canadian contractor delivering marquee projects in key markets including waterpower, hydro, underground works, large bridges, mass transit, and other major civil works. Work in these markets spans all geographies across Canada and includes not only traditional project delivery methods, but also alternative modes such as DB, DBF, PPP, and ECI.
Reporting to the Director of Estimation, the Chief Estimator is fully responsible for leading a team of estimators. This leader will oversee estimates for proposals, bids, and projects in progress (when requested by operations) and ensure all bids are completed by required internal deadlines for management review.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering and/or equivalent experience;
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in major project estimation;
• Strong communication skills;
• Experience with projects over $30 million in value;
• Must be eligible and able to obtain a Federal Security Clearance;
• Availability to work onsite.
