Description

We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and compliance-focused Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) through its next phase of growth and innovation. The CEO will be responsible for overall business strategy, leadership, governance, and ensuring full compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2015, 2025 (transitioning), ESOS Act, and National Code 2018. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a strategic impact while maintaining high standards in vocational education and training for both local and international students.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Management, or a related field (postgraduate qualification preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in an RTO or education organisation (CEO, Director, RTO Manager)
  • Deep understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2015/2025, CRICOS, ESOS Act, and National Code 2018
  • Demonstrated success in managing ASQA audits, scope expansion, and education quality frameworks
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, budget management, and compliance reporting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage teams across multiple departments in a dynamic, regulated environment

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across all departments: academic, compliance, admissions, HR, marketing, and finance
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with ASQA, ESOS Framework, CRICOS, and VET Quality Framework
  • Oversee scope of registration, audits, change of ownership, and ongoing governance of RTO/CRICOS obligations
  • Develop and implement business plans to expand course offerings, market share, and operational footprint
  • Lead financial management, budgeting, and reporting to ensure the organisation remains viable and sustainable
  • Establish and maintain high-level relationships with government bodies, regulators, education agents, and industry partners
  • Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance processes aligned with the Standards for RTOs 2025
  • Inspire and lead staff, fostering a high-performance culture and professional development opportunities
  • Oversee marketing strategy, brand positioning, and student recruitment in collaboration with admissions and marketing teams
  • Monitor student and staff satisfaction and ensure delivery of high-quality learning experiences
