Job Details Job Location: Omaha, NE 68107 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Master's Degree (Graduate Degree) Job Category: Heartland Network The Chief Executive Officer is appointed by and responsible to the Board of Directors and is charged with providing leadership, overall direction, and administration of the human, financial, clinical, program, and operations of the health center-controlled network. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for establishing and implementing policies, programs, and services. The CEO collaborates with the Board of Directors in developing and evaluating the organization’s vision, mission, short and long-range goals, and is the public-facing spokesperson for the organization. Qualifications A B.S. and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science and at least 5 years of equivalent senior work experience in all phases of computer operations or business administration, information technology, or an appropriate related field. Experience with Citrix and VMWare Administration; understanding of Cisco wireless network infrastructure; Electronic Medical Records; administration of Barracuda Spam and Web filters, or similar technology. Windows Desktop and Server operating systems, Microsoft SQL and Exchange required. Successful track record in securing government, corporate, and philanthropic support. The ability to apply sound administrative principles and methods in the management of budgets and diverse personnel and health care programs. The ability to employ necessary management techniques, analyze complex data and communicate results effectively orally and in writing, and to set priorities and make decisions on critical health care programs and issues. Personal qualities that will permit the CEO to work with the staff, network members, and stakeholders in a manner to earn their confidence and respect.
Responsibilities
The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for providing leadership and overall direction for the health center-controlled network. This includes establishing and implementing policies, programs, and services while collaborating with the Board of Directors.
