Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Reporting to an eleven-member Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer will serve as strategist, ambassador, and culture-bearer for the YMCA of Plainview. The CEO will direct a collaborative planning process that sets bold targets for membership growth, rural health outreach, and future capital reinvestment. Beginning with the modernization of the indoor aquatics complex. Charged with stewarding a $1.1 million operating budget and a lean, dedicated staff, the CEO will model the YMCA’s highest standards of child-abuse prevention and aquatic safety, strengthen an extensive volunteer network, and deepen partnerships. Equally critical will be the CEO’s ability to mobilize philanthropic support, expanding the annual campaign and securing resources for capital priorities. The successful candidate will translate strategic vision into measurable community benefit, ensuring that every resident has access to programs that nurture spirit, mind, and body.
