CAN YOU LEAD, DEVELOP, AND INSPIRE TEAMS TO ACHIEVE OUR STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES AND SUPPORT IN SHAPING THE FUTURE OF A CHARITY, ENSURING ITS FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY AND GROWTH?

We are an ambitious charity embarking on an exciting transformation as we refine and implement our next phase of growth. As we continue to make a difference in the lives of those we support, we are seeking a visionary financial leader to lead and drive the strategic financial direction of the organisation.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a seasoned financial expert who brings:

  • A track record of developing and executing strategic financial plans that drive organisational success
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, including FCA compliance (CASS) and tax laws
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and empowering finance teams
  • A commitment to the values of transparency, fairness, and delivering lasting social change

Equality, diversity, and inclusion are incredibly important to us; we have a culture of belonging. We’re always looking to increase the diversity of our workforce to ensure we can provide the best service possible for everyone. It’s not just about the professional experience you bring – we’re interested in who you are and your potential. If there’s an adjustment to our recruitment process that would help you to be your best, speak to our team and they’ll be happy to help.

Responsibilities

As CFO, you will work closely with the CEO, Executive Team, and Board of Trustees, providing expert financial leadership and ensuring our financial strategy is aligned with our mission and long-term goals. You’ll direct the charity’s internal finance, client asset, financial crime, procurement, and financial planning functions, managing financial risks and opportunities to ensure we operate with the highest level of integrity, compliance, and efficiency.
Your leadership will guide the charity through complex financial decisions, ensuring our work continues to have the greatest impact. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference, helping shape our financial future and supporting our journey towards a stronger, more sustainable organisation.
