JOB OVERVIEW

Arch Systems is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Senior Contracts Executive with at least 5+ years of federal government contracting (GovCon) experience to lead finance, contracts, tax accounting, and compliance. This role provides executive oversight of all accounting functions while ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, DCAA, and other federal requirements. The CFO will serve as both a strategic advisor to leadership and the primary liaison with contracting officers, auditors, and tax authorities, driving the organization’s fiscal health, regulatory compliance, and long-term growth across federal IT services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (CPA, MBA, or JD preferred).
• 12+ years of progressive leadership in finance and contracts management, with at least 5+ years in GovCon.
• Deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, LH).
• Proven expertise managing AR/AP, Payroll, QuickBooks, and financial reporting.
• Experience with DCAA/DCMA audit readiness and IRS/tax compliance.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with federal customers and auditors.
