Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) holds primary responsibility for the oversight of all financial functions within the organization. The CFO collaborates closely with senior leadership to foster sustainable business growth, mitigate financial risk, and enhance overall performance. Principal duties encompass the formulation and execution of financial strategies, the maintenance of meticulous financial records, adherence to regulatory requirements, and the cultivation of relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and investors. Direct the company’s financial operations, including accounting, treasury management, and taxation Prepare, review, and present comprehensive financial reports to the board of directors and executive management Monitor cash flow, assess financial risks, and manage capital planning Develop and refine budgets and financial forecasts in alignment with corporate strategy Ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance policies Maintain effective communication and relationships with financial stakeholders Lead, mentor, and develop finance department personnel, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability Qualifications for this position generally include a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline (MBA or CPA credentials are desirable), extensive leadership experience in financial management, superior analytical and communication abilities, and a demonstrable record in strategic planning and fiscal stewardship. TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required prior to offer acceptance; MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) training to be completed upon hire. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School Diploma Bachelor's degree or related field technical degree preferred Minimum 2–5 years of industrial operations experience Manufacturing and/or project supervision experience preferred Alumina refining experience preferred LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze and interpret information. Ability to write reports and basics business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
