The Role: We are seeking a commercially astute Part-Time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner with our Managing Director in shaping and driving the next phase of our business growth. This is a hands-on role for a proactive finance leader with a strong strategic mindset and experience supporting SMEs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate closely with the MD on strategic financial planning and commercial development
· Analyse business performance and identify opportunities for growth and optimisation
· Provide financial modelling, scenario planning, and investment analysis
· Oversee financial controls, compliance, and risk management
· Leverage our ERP system to provide timely and accurate insights
· Support funding, budgeting, and forecasting activities
What We’re Looking For:
· Part Qualified/Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
· Proven CFO or senior finance experience in a growing SME environment
· Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
· Experience with ERP/accounting system integration and data-driven decision-making
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
· Based in the UK with the right to work
