Description

Bring your finance acumen to a rapidly growing government contractor as a member of the leadership team launching the company into the next phase of growth as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
This role is a true leadership seat— you are leading and advising on the strategy of growth, and ensuring that financial and company strategies are aligned. This is not a legacy role; it’s a blank-slate opportunity to build, optimize, and lead.
Excellent benefits package, a strong culture of innovation and collaboration, and the ability to make a significant impact in a business. Your voice will be heard, your ideas will shape the path forward, and your seat at the table will be both strategic and operational.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) - REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & PERSONALITY FIT

You have:

  • Extensive knowledge of government contracting financial operations, including revenue recognition practices, indirect rates, CAS, FAR/DFARS, and DCAA audit practices
  • Experience overseeing successful M&A transactions, strategic planning, and financial due diligence
  • Demonstrated success in scaling financial infrastructure and leading cross-functional teams through periods of growth and transformation
  • Proven experience managing finance and accounting functions in a growing government services company
  • Proficiency with JAMIS or equivalent GovCon ERP systems
  • Experience overseeing Contracts and Human Resources (desired, not required)
  • Experience with Cost Plus contracts
Responsibilities

You will be the head of the finance and accounting department, reporting directly to the CEO. You will serve as a critical member of our executive leadership team, be the linchpin for strong financial stewardship, rigorous government contracting compliance, and effective corporate growth strategies. You’ll oversee all aspects of finance, including accounting, budgeting, audit, treasury, financial and compliance, as well as the human resources department, guiding the company’s financial and accounting function and risk mitigation.
