This executive role has direct influence on company strategy and operations, with full accountability for financial performance, compliance, and long-term planning. The ideal candidate will bring deep government contracting expertise, CFA-level financial knowledge, and a track record of driving operational efficiency and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities: Drive financial strategy, forecasting, and reporting to support executive decision-making Lead all finance, accounting, and treasury functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and scalability Ensure DCAA/DCMA audit readiness and compliance with FAR, DFARS, and CAS Oversee contract pricing, indirect rate strategy, development of annual forward-looking rate proposals, and complex contract financials Lead cash flow management, capital planning, and risk oversight Mentor and grow a high-performing finance and accounting team Support strategic initiatives including M&A, investor relations, and operational optimization Requirements The CFO role requires: CFA designation or equivalent experience strongly preferred 12+ years of progressive leadership in government contract finance Expert in GAAP, DCAA/DCMA regulations, FAR, DFARS, and CAS Proven experience with cost-reimbursable, T&M, and Firm-Fixed-Price contracts Advanced financial systems proficiency (Unanet a plus) Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills U.S. citizenship required We do not discriminate against any applicant for employment on any legally recognized basis including, but not limited to: race, religion or creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, genetic information, veteran status, status with regard to public assistance or any other protected class under federal, state or local statute.
