For an established Swiss industrial company, we are seeking an entrepreneurial, technically strong and hands-on oriented individual as part of a succession plan.

Chief Financial Officer CFO (m/w/d)

The company operates in the technically demanding project business and is active in a rapidly growing market environment. In particular, the expansion of data centers and increasing investments in AI infrastructure are driving additional demand. The scope of work ranges from smaller systems to complex large-scale projects.

This position combines operational finance responsibility with contract management, digitalization, and IT. We are not looking for a CFO who merely manages and delegates, but rather a person who delves deeply into the subject matter, structures topics independently, and actively shapes the company's further development.

Your task

You will assume overall responsibility for finance, controlling, and IT, and lead a small team. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Monthly and annual financial statements, consolidation, planning and reporting
• Cash management, working capital and project controlling
• Contract management for customer and project contracts
• Technical responsibility for SAP Business One
• Digitization and automation of processes as well as meaningful AI applications
• Occasional collaboration on M&A and corporate development topics

We are not looking for a purely managerial role. You should delve deeply into the subject matter, structure topics independently, and actively drive projects forward.

Your profile

They hold a degree as a federally certified public accountant and bring experience from an industrial company with project-based business.

The following are particularly important:

• High degree of certainty in financial statements and simpler consolidation
• Experience with project business and project evaluation
• strong commercial and contractual understanding
• Knowledge of SAP Business One
• high affinity for digitalization and new technologies
• very good German and English skills
