Description

Synergetik Business Services Inc. is looking for an experienced CFO to join our team in Halifax , Nova Scotia.
Bedford based company providing Outsourced Bookkeeping and Accounting Services in Canada and abroad.
Key responsibilities:
Provide outsourced CFO services to company’s clients.
Ensure all regulatory standards are met
Oversight of the completion of the timely audit process.
Develop and implement processes, policies and tools to achieve operational excellence
Develop annual budgets, key performance indicators, dashboards and operational plans
Establish compliance strategies and manage corrective action plans
Develop financial and operating control processes and policies
Develop strategic financial projections, forecasting models and strategic plans
Establish risk assessment strategies and perform risk management
Establish financial planning and strategy and manage corporate finance
Develop tax planning strategies and manage taxes
Develop CAPEX budgets and manage planning
Establish asset registry systems and manage asset protection
Develop Cybersecurity & Data Protection strategies and implement action plans
Skills and Qualifications:
ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA or similar qualified
8+ years’ experience in executive leadership positions
Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
Understanding of IFRS, regulatory issues, and tax planning
Working knowledge of raising capital and managing corporate finance
Experience in EU/ Canada/ International payments industry regulatory framework
Experience in obtaining financial licenses from governing agencies
Knowledge of Canadian and International AML/CTF policies and frameworks
Certification with AML/CTF International body of a significant advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $77,000.00 per year
