As we aim to expand our global presence and transform our existing businesses into world leaders, we are looking for a dynamic finance professional to enhance the company’s financial health and processes on two key fronts – strategizing for growth and preparing the company for a near-term strategic fundraising round and/or a medium- to long-term Initial Public Offering (IPO). This role will involve crafting a comprehensive financial strategy and collaborating closely with the founder and C-suite executives to develop a strategic financial plan that aligns with the company’s short-, medium-, and long-term objectives. Ultimately, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s overall financial operations and leading the Finance and Accounting teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Capital Raising & Investor Relations Lead efforts to secure capital from investors and financial institutions to fund business growth and operations. Drive growth and value creation to attract funding from sources such as Private Equity (PE) and venture capital, while advancing towards an IPO. This includes preparing the company for the IPO by establishing investor relations capabilities and implementing robust internal controls and financial reporting systems. Develop proficiency in various financial valuation models (e.g., comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and discounted cash flow) to support equity valuation for capital raising activities. Prepare and review investor materials, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks. Collaborate closely with investment bankers, underwriters, and other financial advisors to secure IPO financing. 2. Budgeting & Forecasting Maintain accurate financial metrics (such as revenue, expenses, and cash flow) and keep the company informed about performance against these metrics. Manage the budgeting and planning cycles and build financial models that track performance over time, continuously refining them to enhance predictability and robustness. Proactively identify opportunities to improve financial performance. 3. Financial Management & Control Analyze financial data to evaluate risks and opportunities and identify areas for financial performance improvement. Ensure that financial reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with all relevant regulations. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards. Work collaboratively with senior leadership on strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and supporting the development of budgets and forecasts. Develop and execute strategic financial plans aimed at driving long-term growth and profitability while focusing on mid-term resource optimization strategies. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; MBA preferred. • At least 10 years of finance experience, with substantial expertise in IPOs, capital markets, or investment banking. • In-depth knowledge of SEC regulations and public company reporting requirements. • Proven track record managing complex financial projects and collaborating effectively with external advisors and stakeholders. • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities. • Hands-on experience raising funds from institutional investors and closely overseeing the due diligence process. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences. • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience building and managing high-performing teams. • High standards of integrity and professionalism.
