Description
Community Care Physicians is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join our team! This position is responsible for developing the financial well-being of the MSO and PLLC by providing financial projections and accounting services, preparing growth plans, and directing staff. They will direct and coordinate financial affairs according to financial principles and government regulations. Plan financial operational strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; and developing action plans. Develop, direct, and provide financial analysis of operations by evaluating trends, studying revenue opportunities, establishing critical measurements, accumulating resources, and resolving problems. Essential Functions include, but are not limited to: * Develops financial well-being of the MSO and PLLC by providing financial projections and accounting services, preparing growth plans, and directing staff. * Accomplish financial strategies by determining accountabilities, communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures and planning and reviewing compensation strategies. * Develop finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction and establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives. * Establish finance operational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies, designing systems, accumulating resources, resolving problems, and implementing change. * Develop organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities, projecting acquisition and expansion prospects, analyzing organization operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement and accumulating capital to fund expansion. * Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements, identifying monetary resources and developing action plans. * Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances. * Responsible for oversight of CCP’s revenue cycle management department including payer contracting and reimbursements.  * Recommends changes and ideas to top management or Board of Directors in regard to policies and programs and assists in their implementation. * Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining relationships with the investment community. * Report financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analyzing variances, and developing improvements. * Update job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. * Accomplish finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Master’s degree preferred. * Certified Public Accountant certification in good standing. * Fifteen years of experience in accounting and financial management practices, preferably within the healthcare industry. * Solid GAAP and financial reporting technical skills. * Knowledge of financial accounting, analysis and reporting to design, modify, and manage the financial reporting of the MSO and PLLC. * Strong analytical skills including the ability to multi-task, be a flexible problem solver and be a team player. * Researching techniques sufficient to collect and interpret data. * Skill in examining documents for correctness and interpreting their accuracy. * Knowledge of computer accounting systems, practice management software, analytics software, spreadsheets, and applications. * Maintain a high level of confidentiality, discretion, professionalism, and work well independently. * Solid interpersonal skills to establish/maintain cooperative and productive relationships while providing quality service. * Strong understanding of national, state, and local regulations and laws as they pertain to the healthcare industry and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). * Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a proactive and persuasive manner. * Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral & written), and time management skills, along with good leadership capabilities.
