CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies that align with business growth and profitability goals.
  • Provide critical financial analysis to senior leadership, supporting decision-making processes.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and uphold financial policies and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity to support operational needs and growth initiatives.
  • Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Inspire and lead the finance team to achieve high standards of performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable US and Canadian laws, including tax and regulatory obligations.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to implement key business strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • CPA or equivalent professional certification (preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, including at least 5 years in a senior financial management position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of US and Canadian financial regulations.
  • Experience in e-commerce industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
