This is a high-impact executive leadership role for a finance professional ready to drive the financial strategy of a dynamic, fast-paced global group. Role Overview Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team. You will lead the global finance function, oversee statutory and regulatory compliance, and act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board. You will thrive in an entrepreneurial setting, driving capital allocation strategy, managing investor relations, and ensuring the financial health of a multi-product global marketplace. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CEO and Board to define and execute the Group’s financial strategy, capital management, and long-term growth objectives. Financial Reporting & Planning: Oversee the preparation and presentation of comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and rolling forecasts for all global entities. Investor Relations: Lead the Group’s investor relations strategy, managing communications with shareholders, conducting analyst briefings, and representing the company at investor conferences. ASX Compliance: Manage all ASX listing rule requirements, including half-year and annual reporting, continuous disclosure obligations, and regulatory filings. Operational Finance: Enhance and automate global financial systems and processes to drive efficiency across multiple jurisdictions. Strategic Analysis: Lead business modelling, risk assessment, and financial due diligence for M&A, new product launches, and strategic initiatives. Audit & Tax: Coordinate global external audits and manage tax compliance and planning across various international jurisdictions. Commercial Advisory: Provide high-level commercial insights on legal agreements, complex contracts, and strategic partnerships. Capital Allocation: Drive cost-efficiency and performance metrics across the Group’s portfolio (Freelancer, Escrow, and Loadshift) to maximise shareholder value. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. CA/CPA is required. Experience: 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with a significant portion in senior leadership (CFO, VP Finance, or Head of Finance) within an ASX-listed environment. Public Markets: Proven track record in public market reporting, corporate governance, and high-level investor relations. International Scope: Extensive experience in international transactions, multi-currency consolidations, and global tax structures. Domain Expertise: Deep interest or experience in technology-driven businesses, online marketplaces, or fintech. Technical Excellence: Exceptional financial modelling capabilities and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategic insights. Communication: A sophisticated communicator able to engage effectively with the Board, institutional investors, and global teams. Legal Acumen: Proven ability to navigate, review, and interpret complex legal and regulatory contracts.
