Your New RoleThis is a highly influential role that extends well beyond traditional financial stewardship, encompassing strong strategic counsel to the CEO in providing commercial insights to support investment decisions, product development initiatives and profitability across customers, brands and product categories. As a key member of the executive team, this role will be heavily involved in the S&OP process, driving working capital outcomes and supporting inventory optimisation. You will also partner closely with sales, procurement and product teams to improve commercial performance, negotiate supplier arrangements, enhance customer profitability and support strategic growth initiatives. The role will also lead continuous improvement initiatives in systems and processes.What You Need to SucceedThe successful candidate will be a commercially astute finance leader who enjoys leading a small finance team, is hands on in all aspects of finance, including preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting. Demonstrated experience in import and distribution of products and system process and improvements will be highly regarded.
