Our Asset Integrity services cover Topside and Underwater Inspection, Corrosion, Maintenance and Repair services while the Drilling Support services undertakes, majorly, Mudlogging and Pore Prediction services. To deliver these services, Jimcol has over 250 graduate level employees working in client field locations and the company’s base office.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

We are looking for a results-oriented and strategic thinker with exceptional financial acumen and leadership skills. The ideal candidate must possess:

• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A proven ability to manage complex financial operations.
• High ethical standards and integrity.
• Excellent understanding and application of IFRS
• Excellent understanding and application of Nigerian Tax Laws

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• A master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or Finance is desirable
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CIMA or CPA is required.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
• Experience in corporate finance is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of driving financial performance and implementing financial systems and controls.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee the financial strategy, planning, and management of the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will ensure the financial health of the company, providing leadership in financial operations, risk management, and corporate growth.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee cash flow management, investment strategies, and funding.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate and drive business growth opportunities.
• Develop risk management policies to safeguard company assets.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to enhance efficiency and performance.
