The Opportunity A well-funded Series C startup in the technology-enabled commerce space is seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and strengthen its finance function as the company scales into its next phase of growth. The business operates a high-volume platform serving a complex, fragmented market and combines operational infrastructure with embedded financial and data-driven services. With meaningful scale already achieved, the company is focused on improving financial discipline, compliance, and long-term sustainability. This opportunity offers high impact, board visibility, and long-term leadership responsibility within a scaling fintech platform. Details will be shared selectively. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee core finance functions, including: Accounting, Tax and statutory compliance (Philippines-focused), Treasury and cash management, Regulatory and operational compliance Strengthen accounting processes, controls, and financial reporting Address and resolve tax and compliance execution challenges Partner with leadership on financial planning and analysis (FP&A) Support strategic decision-making through clear, accurate financial insights Maintain a highly hands-on approach, particularly across accounting and compliance Ideal Candidate Profile Senior finance leader with strong experience across: Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Compliance Deep familiarity with Philippine operations and regulatory environments Comfortable operating in fast-growing, evolving organizations Hands-on operator who can balance execution with strategic thinking Retail experience strongly preferred Experience in technology-enabled or fintech-adjacent businesses a plus Strong communicator able to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders
