Description Job Title: Chief Financial Officer Job Type: Full-time The CFO of PSE Group will assist in the management of day-to-day financial matters of the company. As a member of the Senior Executive Team, he/she will participate in the development and execution of the company’s long-term growth strategies and profit goals. Responsibilities Serve as a strategic partner to CEO and Odyssey Investment Partner to drive growth in revenue (organic and by acquisition) and EBITDA. Support M&A efforts and drive integration plans. Top level responsibility for all financial activities, including tax, treasury, and financial systems. Drive improvement to the timeliness of the monthly reporting and close process so key real-time business decisions can be made accordingly. Develop and manage the financial organization, ensuring the necessary technical and management resources are in place to meet the function's performance objectives. Proactively seek out and implement best practices in infrastructure and processes to maximize effectiveness and efficiency and to take the finance function to the next level as it continues to scale. Ensure the financial infrastructure yields quality, timely, and reliable financial transformation, and key performance indicators for use by management and investors (e.g., TTM EBITDA, cash flow forecasting, rolling 12 months forecast, etc.) Serve as a trusted advisor/sounding board to the CEO and Board of Directors offering perspective, challenge, encouragement, and balance to enhance the quality of key decisions being made about the business. Responsible for maintaining optimal working capital levels which includes strategically managing the price of carried inventory. Requirements Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred and CPA strongly preferred. A minimum of 10-15 years of financial management experience, including at least 5 years of experience as the senior financial executive in an organization. Experience in Distribution (preferred), Manufacturing, or multi-site locations dealing with inventory. Experience leading or managing system upgrade/implementation will be critical. Previous experience working for a private equity held company preferred, as is experience with post-M&A integration (both accounting and operational). Deep strategic thinking considering all the complexities and interacting strategies of our diverse customers and supplier base. Seasoned interpersonal and social skills to interact with clients at the executive level. Substantial knowledge and experience in acquisition rationalization.
