POSITION SUMMARY

Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on CFO/Controller to lead and enhance financial operations, systems, and reporting capabilities. Reporting directly to the COO, this role is a vital partner in aligning financial strategy with business performance, driving collaboration across teams, and supporting ongoing growth initiatives.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced financial leader with a background in construction or specialty contracting—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, field-driven organization and is eager to build scalable financial infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience, including 3+ years in a Controller-level role in construction or related industries.
• Strong expertise in job costing and project-based financial operations.
• Experience with platforms such as Sage 300 CRE, QuickBooks Enterprise, or Jonas.
• Skilled in Excel or BI tools; strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
