Description:

Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a rapidly growing professional services firm with a mission to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients. They are poised for significant expansion and are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to help lead the organization through its next phase of growth. The ideal candidate will have proven success in scaling a business, strong operational and financial expertise, and a strategic mindset. As part of the executive leadership team, the CFO will play a critical role in shaping the future of the company, ensuring sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and long-term financial health. QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven experience as a CFO in a professional service s environment, with demonstrated success in growing a business (doubling in size or similar).
Strong operational experience, with the ability to work across departments to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
MBA and/or CPA designation required.
10+ years of financial leadership experience, including managing multi-functional teams and working directly with executive leadership and boards of directors.
Deep expertise in financial strategy, risk management, and capital management in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and integrations, as well as organic growth strategies.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute a long-term strategic plan focused on scaling the business and doubling revenue.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions to ensure financial health and optimal resource allocation.
Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with operations teams to streamline processes, improve productivity, and ensure the company’s infrastructure is ready to support rapid growth.
Growth Initiatives: Lead efforts to identify and implement initiatives that support both organic and inorganic growth, including mergers, acquisitions, and expansion into new markets.
Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations. Present financial results to the executive team, board of directors, and key stakeholders.
Risk Management: Develop and manage financial controls and risk management strategies to ensure the company’s financial stability during periods of rapid growth.
Capital Management: Evaluate and manage the company’s capital structure, ensuring appropriate levels of debt, equity, and working capital to support growth objectives.
Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and operations team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Systems and Processes: Lead efforts to enhance the company’s financial systems and operational processes to support scalability and data-driven decision-making.
