ABOUT US:

Innatera is a rapidly growing Dutch semiconductor company that develops ultra-efficient neuromorphic processors for AI at the edge. These microprocessors mimic the brain’s mechanisms for processing fast data streams from sensors, enabling complex turn-key sensor analytics functionalities, with 10,000x higher performance per watt than competing solutions. Innatera’s technology serves as a critical enabler for next-generation use cases in the IoT, wearable, embedded, and automotive domains.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. This person will take ownership of our financial strategy and operations as we scale from early-stage to growth and maturity. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of strategic insight and hands-on execution, with prior experience in venture-backed deep-tech, semiconductor, or hardware startups.
You will be a close partner to the CEO and board of investors, helping lead Innatera through future growth stages, non-dilutive and dilutive fundraising, and deeper institutional investor engagement.

YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

• 10+ years of financial leadership experience, including at least one CFO or VP Finance role in VC-backed, deep-tech, hardware, or semiconductor companies;
• Proven track record in startup and scale-up environments, ideally across Series A–D stages, with full ownership of financial planning, investor reporting, and fundraising support;
• Strong understanding of venture capital dynamics and financial operations in early-stage technology companies;
• Hands-on experience building financial systems, processes, and internal controls from the ground up in fast-paced, resource-constrained settings;
• Solid knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and managing multi-entity, international corporate structures;
• Familiarity with the Dutch financial, tax, and regulatory environment;
• Experience engaging with government agencies and managing non-dilutive funding programs such as EU or Dutch grants and subsidies;
• Understanding of R&D cost centers, capital expenditure-intensive environments, and technology commercialization challenges;
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, RA/RC, or an MBA are strongly preferred.
