Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a CPA license to join our founding team. This role is critical in guiding our financial strategy, scaling the business, and driving the fundraising process. As a key leader, the CFO will oversee financial planning, fundraising, budgeting, compliance, and investor relations.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising and Investment: Lead efforts to secure funding and investments to fuel company growth; establish relationships with venture capital firms, angel investors, and other funding sources.
Financial Strategy: Develop and implement the financial strategy to support TruVita’s long-term vision and growth plans.
Budget Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Investor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, providing regular updates on financial performance and milestones.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and financial reporting standards.
Financial Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaboration: Partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive overall business strategy and execution.
Qualifications
CPA license required (Certified Public Accountant).
Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a startup or healthcare/technology sector.
Strong track record in fundraising and building relationships with investors.
Exceptional understanding of financial modeling, corporate finance, and financial reporting.
Deep knowledge of U.S. accounting principles, tax regulations, and SEC compliance.
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance short-term goals and long-term vision.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $153,760.00 - $169,917.00 per year
