Company Mission Duo Health is a new type of medical group designed around the needs of patients with chronic kidney disease and their physicians.  Our unique Health Mobilization™ platform partners multidisciplinary care teams with community nephrologists and activates all the other clinicians, facilities and community organizations necessary to treat the whole patient on their own terms. Our team is comprised of leaders in value-based health care, technology and behavioral science who share a vision for advancing health equity one relationship at a time.   Our interprofessional care teams, which include physicians, nurses, social workers, and patient navigators, provide high-touch and comprehensive care to a small panel of patients.  Team collaboration is essential to our intensive, psycho-social model of care which includes assessment, medication management, social management, and behavioral health management.  Job Description The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) is responsible for driving the organization’s overall growth strategy, revenue expansion, and market positioning. This executive leader oversees business development, strategic partnerships, and revenue optimization initiatives to ensure sustainable, scalable growth aligned with the company’s long-term vision.  This individual will develop and oversee the implementation of growth strategies across the organization. Importantly, you structure value-based care contracts that align incentives between nephrology groups, our health plan partners, and our members. Success in this function will require ownership of the strategy that effectively navigates matrixed organizations, articulating our value proposition to a variety of audiences, effectively managing long sales cycles, distilling input from the market, working cross-functionally with our internal teams responsible for contract implementation and the ability to manage client relationships on an ongoing basis well beyond the point of contract execution. This individual will be responsible for both leading and supporting payor negotiations with an emphasis on building strong, collaborative payor relationships that support innovative reimbursement structures to advance the best interest of high quality, affordable patient care.  Duties and Responsibilities * Lead the negotiation of complex, value-based payor and provider partner agreements, and ownership over the strategic development and oversight contracting  * Provide strategic thought leadership to Duo Health, regarding value-based contracting initiatives  * Lead all commercial activities within the organization, and will be responsible for the continued developing of a portfolio contracting strategy that will support the growth the organization with a focus on value-based care  * Work closely with Duo’s leadership in clinical affairs, network performance, medical group operations and others to ensure commercial opportunities are designed for greatest success.  * Help health plans understand how our clinical model and outcomes are differentiated, using clinical and financial data and competitive intelligence  * Identify where our value proposition needs to evolve or improve  * Establish the department's strategic vision, objectives, and policies and procedures  * Provide input to enterprise-wide stakeholders relative to business development and strategic positioning as it relates to payer strategy  * Advise the executive team on emerging trends and methodologies in managed care contracting, payor relations and legal issues  Requirements * 10+ years experience as a health plan focused sales leader working with risk bearing provider groups, insurance companies or other managed care organizations which take medical cost risk  * Demonstrated track record of building strong working relationships across operational leaders and potential partners  * Experience with value-based reimbursements, and capitated payment models  * Ability to be proactive with strong personal initiative as well as highly organized and detail oriented  * Effectively contributing to building collaborative payor relationships that result in mutually beneficial contract mechanics  * Understanding of Medicare Advantage bid process and MA population behaviors at-large  * Knowledge of value-based contract methodologies and preferred financial and administrative terms  * Ability to think independently, and develop new processes/analyses required  * Ability to navigate within ambiguity, a service orientation, and a high level of humility are vital for successful assimilation into our highly collaborative, entrepreneurial culture  * Experience negotiating quality and efficiency metrics preferred  * Frequent travel expected     #LI-Remote
